In anticipation of May's selection of free games on PS Plus Essentials, three titles have been revealed along with a special bonus game, with the file sizes of each of the three base games being released. According to PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, the file sizes for May's PS Plus selection of «Essential» games have been announced, which includes EA Sports FC 24 and Tunic, both of which are featured on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Ghostrunner 2. EA Sports FC 24 will require 48.5 GB of space on PlayStation 4 and 52.3 GB on PlayStation 5. Ghostrunner 2 will require 13.7 GB of space for PlayStation 5 users. Tunic will require a considerably lower amount of space, with the PlayStation 4 version requiring 4.8 GB and the PlayStation 5 requiring 1.5 GB.
