The Sims' Plumbob Jewelry Collection Brings Your Crystal Creations To Life

Since its inception, The Sims has been all about stepping away from your real life and creating your very own virtual one. Four games and countless expansions later, The Sims includes just about every detail you could hope for when piecing together your Sims, their home, and the surrounding neighborhood. So much so that the in-game items are now starting to spill back out into the real world. The Sims 4's Crystal Creations Stuff Pack releases today, and the jewelry you make within it can be yours to wear outside of the game too.

In-game, the Crystal Creations pack will let your Sims make their very own jewelry. Given 27 crystals and 22 metal options to work with, you'll hopefully be able to make items that are unique to your Sims, at least in the ones walking around their neighborhood. If you'd like to try and replicate their look when it comes to their new rings and necklaces, you'll need to craft jewelry using the Plumbite Crystal and Gold Metal.

Releasing alongside the Crystal Collections pack, Maxis has turned three pieces of The Sims 4's new handmade jewelry into items you can buy exclusively through the game's official store from 3 pm today (February 29, 2024). A ring, a necklace, and a pair of earrings have been transformed into real jewelry. All three items have the series' Plumbob at their center, the green diamond you see above the Sim you're focused on that doubles as the games' logo.

The ring has a Plumbob in the middle of a gold cage, while the earrings and the necklace have empty Plumbob-shaped cages with Plumbite beads incorporated into their design. The gemstones are actually made of green zircon, by the way, just in case anyone was wondering what the heck Plumbite is. The prices of the items won't be revealed until their store pages go live later today, and all three come with a signature box to keep the jewelry safe.
