GRIS was easily one of the best games of 2018, an emotionally-charged platforming adventure that was a complete beauty in more ways than one. How exactly does one top an experience like that? Well, we’ll find out next year when developers Nomada Studio return with their follow-up, Neva, which was officially revealed during today’s PlayStation Showcase. You can check out the first trailer below, which already leaps out thanks to another gorgeous art style.
Much like with GRIS, this new puzzle-platformer focuses on a major loss, in this case a wave of death via dark forces that sees our main heroine now bonding with a wolf cub, the two of them now traversing across a decaying world. Notably, this game will apparently feature full-on combat sections, befitting what appears to be a bit of a more adventurous tone. Neva arrives on all major platforms in 2024, and we’ll make sure to keep an eye our for any new developments when in comes to this latest emotional voyage.
