Even after his seeming departure at the end of 2018’s Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and the subsequent taking up the role of main protag by Ichiban in 2020’s Like A Dragon. And while that inevitable team-up with Ichiban is coming, in the form of Like A Dragon 8, the studio are also providing us with a smaller, bite-size adventure following the events of 6 by way of Like A Dragon Gaiden. Or to give it its full name, Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
In this tale, Kiryu — now donning the alias of Joryu — gets lured back into the sleezy, criminal underworld with a new job, all while he continues on a path to find himself. Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, releases on November 19.
