Amnesia: The Bunker Gets Shellshocked Difficulty With Latest Update
Frictional Games has released a new major update for Amnesia: The Bunker, bringing with it a host of new features. Check out some of the new things coming to the game as part of its Halloween update in the trailer below.
The update was originally announced back in September, and is headlined by the addition of a new difficulty mode. Dubbed Shellshocked mode, the game’s difficulty gets kicked up by quited a bit, since it reduces the number of space places for players to hide in. This includes the Admin Office, which is less secure owing to its doors now being made of wood.
Shellshocked mode also brings with it a randomiser, shuffling up the locations of various items and hazards in the game. The update allows players to start a new playthrough of the horror game without even the basic handgun.
Amnesia: The Bunker was released back in June, and is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. For more details, check out our review.
