Destiny 2 Season of the Wish Gets Details and Ominous Teaser
Last week, theDestiny 2 community solved a special in-game puzzle that revealed the setup for the final season before next year’s The Final Shape expansion. There’s a new teaser out today for this final season, Season of the Wish.
Season of the Wish launches on November 28th, and now there’s a glimpse at what we can expect. When we say a teaser, we mean all 11 seconds of it. Yet, it is an ominous 11 seconds.
“All wishes…come at a cost.” We’ll find out more of what means in two weeks.
We got here after the work that led to the completion of the final puzzle from the Imbaru Engine. The Witch Queen Savathûn created a series of challenging tests and now the community has completed them. What was left was an egg of Riven, for an Ahamkara Wish Dragon. Not only this, but the way to enter the portal the Witness made inside the Traveler seems to be born of the Fifteenth Wish, from a pattern in her wings.
All of these events will lead us through this final season. Guardians will have to return to The Dreaming City and there will be new activities to complete, new gear, and new mysteries. All of this, will, of course, lead towards The Final Shape. The Witness may finally be reachable via these discoveries, but this season’s new activities will occupy everyone’s time before we all get to go down that road.
The Final Shape will be out on February 27, 2024, with new episodes to follow the expansion’s release.
