Erying, a popular DIY brand for the Asian markets who are responsible for making Mobile-On-Desktop motherboards has released its new Mini-ITX offerings featuring Intel's 13th Gen CPUs.
The MoDT "Mobile on Desktop" ecosystem is very popular in China and Asian markets where cheaper mobile CPUs can be leveraged for desktop audiences by offering them in DIY boards. Erying has specialized in this category for years and we have also seen other brands catching up within the segment.
Recently, Erying introduced its 13th Gen mATX motherboards featuring the latest Raptor Lake mobile CPUs from Intel at sub $300 US prices, making them enticing options for mainstream & budget gamers. Now, Erying is expanding its 13th Gen CPU options with the new "SKYLINE" series which features a Mini-ITX design.
The Erying SKYLINE MoDT ITX motherboards feature support for Core i5-13420H, Core i5-13500H, Core i7-13600H, Core i7-13700H, Core i7-13800H and up to the 14-Core Core i9-13900H CPU. The motherboard features dual UDIMM DDR5 memory slots which can support up to 5600 MT/s DRAM speeds and up to 96 GB capacities, making them great for upgradability. The motherboard adopts a 6+1 phase VRM delivery which is powered by a single 8-pin connector and a standard 24-pin ATX connector.
For cooling, the motherboard equips a large pure copper baseplate which acts as a CPU IHS and comes with a brushed metal design. The socket can support any modern CPU cooler with a fairly standard LGA 115x retention bracket design. The company also offers high-end vapor chamber cooling in its higher-end B760M designs which were revealed last month.
For I/O, the motherboard comes with 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports (5 Gbps) 4 USB 2.0 ports, a single USB4 Type-C interface, WIFI6 (module),
