@Mikey856 interesting coincidence. That was also one of the games that introduced me and my siblings and cousins to the brand.
@PorkChopExpress I think for me it has more to do having a vast backlog of games that I can (hopefully) carry on over.
But if that was not the case, then there is only one correct answer. Bloodborne 2. Or Bloodborne Remastered/Remake. Ok that is two.
@PorkChopExpress with the obvious exception of Bloodborne Remake and Bloodborne 2… both of these will never happen but The Order: 1887 in an open-world steampunk London and Days Gone 2: Broken Roads.

Had a go on my mates ps1 playing Metal Gear, so picked one up second hand down the line.
PS4: Rocket League, Overwatch. It sounds funny that these two would be the initial main reasons. But before getting this in 2016, I have only owned Nintendo consoles, Sega Genesis, and PC. Also consider just how dire being a Wii U-only player (did not even have a 3DS at the time) in 2016 was lol. I had played PS2 a lot at friends' houses growing up though, and in recent years, I have become a lot more fascinated by the PS1 generation/games.
PS5: College Football 2025, FF7 Rebirth. Honestly the PS5 was more of a hardware upgrade for me than it being a super enthusiastic purchase because of its library. Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying it, and will be getting more exclusives and multiplatform games down the road, but I do feel that I was a lot more excited about getting a PS4. On the whole, I think the PS5/Xbox Series generation might be one of the worst ever, imo.
PS1 Mini Classic (2018): crunchy Metal Gear Solid mainly.
