NVIDIA has released the newly updated GeForce Game Ready driver, version 531.29, pulling out of its beta stage and into its completed form. The new NVIDIA Game Ready driver further supports Atomic Heart, the closed beta of the upcoming video game THE FINALS, & fixes Adobe application issues that arose during version 531.18.
With the earlier driver update afflicting systems with abnormally high CPU usage, users were ripe to notice the CPU situation after the first day of its release. NVIDIA did release a hotfix to assist with fixing the problem but warned users that it might be wiser to wait for its full release. This new driver comes with known issues, such as toggling HDR on and off while the user plays the game.
The HDR issue causes the game to become unstable, especially when its non-native resolution is chosen. Users should also be aware that applying the NVIDIA GeForce Experience Freestyle filters tends to cause the game to crash. These issues should be kept in mind should anyone download the newest driver.
The changelog and information for the newly updated NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready driver (version 531.29 WHQL) are listed below:
You can download the newest NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready driver version 531.29 WHQL for desktop and mobile systems (both are direct links to the .EXE files).
