As part of an interview with Insider, Paquette was asked about if Insomniac Games might make a Venom spin-off game in the same vein as 2020’s Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The director didn’t discount the possibility but noted that Insomniac is still focused on Spider-Man 2 for the time being.
“So, here’s what we’re doing. We’re focused on Spider-Man 2 and what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna wait to see how the fans react,” Paquette stated. “We’re gonna listen to the fans and we’re gonna ask ourselves, ‘Okay, what do the fans really want?’”
It may be a while before anything is set, though, as Paquette notes that the team will be taking some time to relax between the launch and the next title.
“We’ll kind of talk about stuff after we’ve all had time to sleep and take vacations,” he said.
