However, one popular and important character — Gwen Stacy — may be on a lot of people's minds as they progress through the game's narrative.

The character was featured in multiple movies, including being a main character in the animated films. Many iterations of the character exist, including ones where she is bitten by a radioactive spider and given the powers traditionally given to Peter Parker. Her names and nicknames throughout the years have included Spider-Woman, Ghost Spider, and even Spider-Gwen. Even in media where she isn't a superhero, she typically plays an important role in the development of whomever does become Spider-Man.
