Marvel Rivals, the free-to-play (super)hero shooter from NetEase, is set to arrive on 6th December on PS5, and it's hard not to get swept along by its ultra-stylish launch trailer.
It's not exactly representative of how the game plays, but this cinematic animation oozes style. Focusing on the large roster of characters available at launch, their designs look fantastic here as they show off their abilities to the upbeat theme song from Chrissy Costanza.
The game is similar to Overwatch in how it plays, with teams of players choosing from numerous characters, all with their own weapons and powers. We've been feeling quite mixed on Marvel Rivals; some of us are pretty excited for it, while others didn't have a great time with the beta test. Hopefully the final game will win everyone over.
