Years and years ago, HoYoverse announced a Genshin Impact anime, which fans are still waiting to watch. There’s been no real update on the project, and many have assumed it’s now on hiatus.
However, that’s not stopped the Chinese studio from starting to make more and more anime shorts to promote upcoming updates and characters. Mavuika is the latest to get the treatment, scoring an epic 10-minute animation that’s already racked up over a million views.

If I remember correctly the anime was announced to be in the works by Ufotable and they are too busy making (with Aniplex/Sony and Toho) what has the chance to be the biggest trilogy of anime movies in the history of anime so I think Genshin will have to wait a little longer.
The animation in those trailers looks nice but if the anime is actually made by Ufotable you know the world will be watching. Ufotable was already special before Kimetsu no Yaiba, once they finish the project they will be just what Hoyo or any other company interested in an anime adaptation would be looking for.
I really, really, really want a ZZZ anime. Their shorts have been stellar.
