Games Workshop has put out some epic miniatures this year, but fans have picked these miniatures as the best of the best this year. Every year, Games Workshop grows its two signature franchises, and with new miniatures and new lore. Some of these miniatures are brand-new units, while others are refreshes of classic characters or units with new sculpts and builds. While these miniatures are meant to be used in gameplay, many fans enjoy building and painting them for display and hobby purposes.
As part of their year-end celebrations, Games Workshop held a poll to determine what were the best Warhammer miniatures of the year. This year, Games Workshop divided the vote into three categories, focused on,, and everything else. This year's winning miniatures were the Night Lords Nemesis Claw, while fans voted for Ushoran as the top miniature. The epic Tomb King/Liche Priest on Necrolith Bone Dragon from won the final miniatures category.
The Night Lords Nemesis Claw unit consists of eight fearsome and grotesque Chaos Space Marines from the Night Lords chapter.These miniatures were originally made for but can also be used in traditional games. Other top miniatures include the Provisionally Prepared diorama showing two Ratlings preparing a meal on the battlefield, as well as the Inner Circle Companions and Asmodai, Master of Repentance from the Dark Angels.
As for the fantasy-themed game, Ushoran is a Mortarch of the ghoulish Flesh-Eater Courts that received a line-wide refresh this year. Other topminiatures include the rat daemon Vizzik Skour, the Chaos warrior Abraxia, and the Chaos Sorcerer Lord. The only representative of the forces of Order was Grombrindal, the classic White Dwarf who got a new model this year in celebration of 500 issues of the White Dwarf magazine.
