Through restless dreams, Konami’s Silent Hill 2 remake has achieved a new sales milestone. It crossed two million copies sold over three months since its launch on PS5 and PC. The figure accounts for worldwide shipments and digital sales, with the last milestone being one million in three days.
Developed by Bloober Team, the remake follows the beloved survival horror classic. The story of James Sunderland arriving in the mysterious town in search of his wife remains intact. However, the visuals are rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 while a new over-the-shoulder perspective is introduced.

As for the future of Silent Hill, Konami said it will “do our best” to provide updates on Silent Hill: Townfall and Silent Hill f this year. The latter was recently rated in South Korea, which could mean a potential announcement in the coming months.
