In great news for Star Wars gamers, Respawn Entertainment’s recent Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is already being patched. The game was released late last week and a plethora of technical problems dropped what should have been a near perfect score to one much lower. Hopefully players can get back to saving the galaxy with the first round of patches, and if not gamers will just have to test out their Jedi patience while they wait.
Meanwhile, if they need a burst for dopamine, Mark Hamill has them covered. The actor shared an adorable montage of behind-the-scenes shots in honor of the limited rerelease of Return of the Jedi, and the clips are sweet enough to put a smile on anyone’s face. James Earl Jones was trending this weekend, and fans immediately assumed it was time to say goodbye to the near centenarian. It turns out Jones is still popular, and just because an older celebrity is trending doesn’t necessarily mean it’s time to whip out the black. Jones isn’t the only Star Wars icon presumed dead but still kicking: One The Book of Boba Fett baddie formerly thought to be KIA turns out to be alive somewhere out there in the ‘verse, and it’s a move we’re firmly blaming on Dave Filoni.
It just wouldn’t be Dave Filoni’s Star Wars if a character didn’t miraculously survive the un-survivable. The director decided back in 2008 that some bad guys are too cool to let go when he had Darth Maul survive a literal bisection. Filoni is apparently back at it again with the news that Cad Bane is the latest baddie to somehow survive a deathblow. According to the latest Star Wars guide and history book, Bane is listed as “out of action.” The book includes the final showdown between Bane and Boba Fett so it’s not that it’s out of date. Since
