The final campaign chapter for Embers of Neltharion became available this week, concluding the story of 10.1. Towards the end of the questline, an important cinematic determines the Black Dragonflight's legacy.
The Black Dragonflight's LegacyThe eighth and final chapter of Embers of Neltharion takes place after the events of the Aberrus raid. We re-enter the raid with Wrathion, Sabellian, Ebyssian, and Emberthal — four characters who represent the legacy of the Black Dragonflight, each a child of Neltharion in their own way. The cutscene begins with Emberthal leaning over a fifth child of Neltharion — Sarkareth — the end boss of Aberrus.
A Flame, ExtinguishedDespite everything, Emberthal seems saddened by Sarkareth's death — a reaction that surprises the ever-brash Sabellian.

However, in Aberrus they saw firsthand what it would mean to truly follow in Deathwing's footsteps — as the Echo of Neltharion used flattery and promises of power in an attempt to convince them to commit acts that they knew were wrong.
