Hello, I have recently bought a PS5 and want to transfer my old Fallout 4 savegames to my new system. For years, I have been backing up my old games via a USB and storing them on a PC. However, upon trying to transfer the saves, I noticed that everything suddenly seems to be in .bin format (I've not seen it look like that before) and I'm unable to click on 'load' in my new installation of F4, presumably because it can't read the file. Why is this and is there a way I can get all of my old saves to work? I'm baffled and worried. Thanks for any help.
Btw, I just had an issue with posting this. What is meant by 'related tags must not occur more than 5 times'? I haven't added multiple tags of anything?
Any ideas, folks? Does anyone know anything about savegame files?
I only just realised that I do actually still have my old savegame files on the old PS4 and have now directly transferred them via USB and they STILL don't get recognised on my PS5 whereas everything else does. What the hell is going on?

You cannot transfer saves via USB to the PS5. You can only use cloud saves via PS plus.

Thanks but that's just not true. I've been switching between PS4 and PS5 saves for over a month now and F4 is the only game that hasn't allowed me to do it. It would really annoy me if that was the case as it would just be plain old profiteering. I don't think it matches Sony's goal of being able to accommodate old games from previous iterations of the platform either.
