I use «Stuck» in quotations because the trigger itself actually feels fine. There's no stiffness; it has a normal amount of resistance when pushed and springs back when released. It feels so perfect I even thought it was a software issue at first.
The problem is that the controller behaves like the left trigger is being held. I tried pulling at the trigger and resetting the controller but it still isn't working. I don't know how to open the inside of the controller or if I need to. Even if I did open it up, I wouldn't know where to begin.
@Madnishi_02 you’ve obviously physically damaged it. Since you are not comfortable taking it apart your options are buy a new one or pay someone to have a look and hopefully repair it for you.
Since you have nothing to lose, consider taking it apart yourself and see if you can see anything wrong with it. The spring being snapped, button visibly stuck in, ribbon cable broken or dislodged?
Plenty of videos online and it’s surprisingly easy, you’ll need a couple of cheap tools though.
