My wife and I are looking at getting a second PS5 to prevent any further arguments over who's turn it is to play. However, a little unsure as to whether it would be worthwhile and whether we'd be able to play at the same time.
Currently, Mrs is playing Horizon on her profile and I am playing Assassin's Creed on mine (on the same console). My profile is the only one with a PS Plus account and both of these games mentioned were downloaded from PS Plus.
Would we still be able to play both and play at the same time given they were both downloaded from the same account? And would our saves transfer over the two consoles?
I have tried Googling but couldn't find a clear answer or explanation.
Yes you can, make sure your current console has «Console Sharing and Offline Play» enabled, that is now your wife's console, then you login to the new one.
Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play
Yes you can! My wife and I have done so since the PS3 days.
Make the console you plan to mainly play on her «primary», and then make the console she normally plays on your «primary»
If you do this, you will be able to access each other's libraries no matter what console you are playing on
