Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Will Feature A Rematch Between Sasuke And Naruto
Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connection's new story scenario will feature a rematch between Naruto and Sasuke, who appear to have been possessed by an evil force.
You might think that the Summer of gaming news is over, but Bandai Namco has decided to keep it rolling into July with a Summer showcase at Anime Expo 2023. One of the big games that was confirmed to make an appearance at the event was Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections and, although it didn't get a release date, we did get to see the new story mode in action for the first time.

Bandai started the show by talking about Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, before quickly diving into a new trailer for the game that showcases its new story scenario, which was previously confirmed to star Boruto and have him going up against a red Susanoo. As it turns out, that Susanoo seems to belong to Sasuke, who appears to have been taken over by an evil force of some kind.
Beyond revealing some new characters who have never appeared in Naruto before, the main focus of the trailer was showcasing a rematch between Naruto and Sasuke, along with teasing that the Fifth Great Ninja War is looming because of it. Although we know that it'll probably get resolved, the battle between the pair does seem to be pretty intense, with neither holding back any of their strongest moves.
We don't yet know why the two are fighting once again, but one shot of Naruto's eyes at the start of the trailer does seem to imply that one or both of them have been taken over by an evil force of some kind.
