The Grinding Gear Games team is preparing for a busy couple of months. ExileCon 2023 will be held at the end of this month in Auckland, New Zealand, and include the announcement of the next expansion. The team has just announced some big appearances that include chances to try out Path of Exile 2.
That's right, while the team has consistently offered an update here and there about Path of Exile 2 , this summer we've had a couple of peeks, including a teaser from the Summer Game Fest. Grinding Gear games will be heading to Gamescom from August 23-27th in Cologne, Germany. If going to Germany isn’t on the table, you will be able to play Path of Exile 2 at PAX West in Seattle in early September. That show takes place from September 1-5th.
So if you're not able to make it all the way down to New Zealand for ExileCon or to Germany for Gamescom, maybe Seattle is a little more possible. While ExileCon is a big event for all Path of Exile fans, New Zealand is a bit far for much of the world. The Gamescom appearance will feature a playable demo of Path of Exile 2 as well as an organized fan meetup. The team will appear at Pax West in Seattle, though there won’t be time for any fan meetups or dedicated events.Yet, the team still encourages those interested to stop by, try out the demo, and say hi to the devs.
Grinding Gear is certainly moving on the development of Path of Exile 2 , while it remains clear that the team isn't stopping on the original Path of Exile. Not only will the next expansion release date and details been revealed, but there are a slate of events to enjoy.
