Bandai Namco's big surprise announcement of its Summer showcase at Anime Expo is a fighting game based on Jujutsu Kaisen - Jujustu Kaisen: Cursed Clash.
As part of Anime Expo 2023, Bandai Namco just hosted a Summer Showcase that showed off new looks at Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connection, Sand Land, Sword Art Online, and Baten Kaitos. After showing new trailers for all of those games, it had one more surprise in store for everyone - a new game based on Jujutsu Kaisen.

The reveal trailer for the arena fighter, which is subtitled Cursed Clash, showcased several playable characters from the series, including Yuji Itadori, Satoru Gojo, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki. Although the first half of the trailer made it seem as if the fighter is a one-on-one affair, we later see that the game features two characters on one team who both appear on screen at the same time.
We only got to see a little bit of gameplay within the trailer, but it seems to resemble some of Bandai Namco's previous 3D anime arena fighters, such as My Hero: One's Justice and One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. Details on the game are a little slim right now since it was only just announced, but it has been confirmed for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
