EA's Not-FIFA FC 24 Gets An Announcement Trailer, And What Horrors Has Pirlo Seen?

We've known that the next soccer game from EA isn't called FIFA for a while now, and now the entry titled EA Sports FC 24 has received a reveal trailer to get you pumped for the pitch. The trailer promises a «closer» experience than previous entries in the recently renamed series, and also that a full gameplay reveal is coming on July 13.

EA also showed off the game's Ultimate Edition cover, and it turns out that version of the game's cover star is, well, all of them, as it features more than two dozen notable soccer players and coaches. However, it seems that Italian soccer legend (and current coach) Andrea Pirlo has seen some real nasty stuff, at least judging by the thousand-yard stare he's sporting. Perhaps he's spotted Cthulhu on the pitch.
