Fallout Free Cheyenne is a New Upcoming New Vegas Fan Expansion and a Playable Demo is Available Now

Created by modder 'userKN', Fallout Free Cheyenne is an upcoming fan expansion for New Vegas and a free demo can now be downloaded.

Last week, we reported on the first gameplay trailer for another upcoming New Vegas fan expansion - Fallout: Nuevo Mexico. Today, we wanted to share another interesting fan project for one of the best, if not THE best, Fallout entries. Set in 2281, Free Cheyenne will feature political intrigue, outlaws, as well as plenty of gunfights.

"Caesar's Legion holds Denver in its iron fist, threatening the neighboring settlements and people of the Corridor Wasteland with brutal conquest", the mod's description reads. "To the north, the City of Free Cheyenne remains defiant of Caesar and prepares for war. You have been offered a job to travel with the East Forty Caravan Company out to Free Cheyenne to deliver a package to the Platte Trading Company.

To provide a glimpse at this upcoming unofficial expansion for New Vegas, its creator has released a playable demo that includes three new quests, new factions, and a new world to explore. Being a work-in-progress, you'll notice that the demo feels somewhat 'empty', especially considering the size of the main city. Also, it should be noted that New Vegas is somewhat dated. The game was released in 2010 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, and you can clearly see that the game is aging. This also applies to this fan project. Nonetheless, this fan expansion looks interesting and we're pretty sure that New Vegas fans will appreciate it.
