Given all the big events and showcases that happened last month, it was inevitable that several new games would be announced. But what were the biggest of the bunch? We got you covered. These aren’t in any particular order. We just wanted to show you the new games that will arrive soon enough.
Why not start off with a VR title? Many VR games were shown off in June, but one that caught many people’s eyes was Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate. It’s a remake of a previous VR title, improving the original title in many ways.
In the game, you’ll be a time traveler who inhabits people’s bodies to live out their lives and uncover the “mysteries of time.” If your mind is flashing back to a certain TV series, you’re not alone.
The game prides itself on its immersion and showing you these different people and places through your perspective so you can interact with them on various levels.
So dive in and see where time takes you.
Imagine a future where corporations have taken over, and citizens are just trying to survive underneath their boot. Oh, wait, we probably don’t have to imagine that hard, right? Anyway, Resistor is a game about a future where corporations are controlling cities, and those on the outside who want a better life have to go through a certain racing competition to get that chance.
Enter Aster, whose family wants nothing more than to live in one such city so their mother can get the medical attention they need.
But in this open-world RPG, you’ll find that capitulating to the system is harder when you know the truth about what’s going on behind the scenes.
We’re not sure who asked for this game or why it’s coming out years after the first two movies hit the box office, but Jumanji: Wild Adventures is indeed coming.
