Now is a great time to clear your backlog, as Microsoft is running a massive sale on digital Xbox games.

Prime Day has come and gone, but there are still a bunch of great deals lingering around--including one at the Xbox Store, which is discounting hundreds of digital games. Everything from Borderlands 3 to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is on sale, giving you a chance to save a few bucks even though the big summer holiday has ended.
Dead Island 2 just launched a few months ago, but it’s already seeing a big price cut in the latest Xbox sale. The Deluxe version of the game (which includes the Weapons Pack along with other in-game exclusives) is now just $60, down from its usual $75. If you’re looking for a different kind of undead experience, the highly rated Resident Evil Village is just $20 (down from $40).
If Diablo IV has you itching for a good looter that doesn’t cost $70, you’ll find Destiny 2: Lightfall for $25 (down from $60) and Diablo III: Eternal Collection for $20 (down from $60). Both are easy recommendations at these new low prices--especially if you can round up a few friends to play with.
Other notable discounts include A Way Out for $6, Cyberpunk 2077 for $30, and Deathloop for $15. The latter is a particular standout, as its tight gunplay and time-looping narrative earned it our 2021 GOTY award. This is also one of the lowest prices we’ve seen for the game, making it a great time to add it to your collection.
There are plenty of other great deals in the Xbox Ultimate Sale, so be sure to browse the collection when you have time. You’ll also find a list of our favorite deals below.
