The latest benchmarks of Intel's Core i7-14700K Raptor Lake Refresh CPU have leaked out and compared against the Intel Core i7-13700K.
These newly leaked benchmarks come straight from Bilibili's content creator, -T小白-, who has cleverly titled the video "13700K SUPER PRO MAX PLUS ULTRA OC" to avoid any issues with the embargo and NDA. The chip itself is also photoshopped in the BIOS to appear as the "Core i7-13700KS" but the chip in fact is the Core i7-14700K which is clearly seen in CPU-z where the 8 P-Core and 12 E-Core configuration is shown (only specific to this desktop SKU).
This will be the fourth leak of the Intel Core i7-14700K which had previously appeared multiple times. We first saw the chip back in July in the first leaked benchmarks which showed up to 15% better performance with an ES SKU, later we saw the chip running up to 6.3 GHz (overclocked) on an MSI Z690 motherboard and the chip also had additional benchmarks leak out alongside its i9 brother within the BAPCo database.
In terms of specifications, the Intel Core i7-14700K CPU comes with an 8+12 core configuration that offers 20 cores & 28 threads. This will be a nice upgrade over the existing Core i7-13700K processor which offers an 8+8 core config, delivering further boost to multi-threaded performance thanks to those extra E-Cores. The CPU will offer 33 MB of smart cache (vs 30 MB) & feature clock speeds of 3.4 GHz at the base and up to 5.6 GHz with TBMT3. That's also a +200 MHz boost over the 13700K & we can see performance uplifts of around 5-10% from this particular SKU.
Starting with the benchmarks, we first have CPU-z where the chip scores 14992.8 points in multi & 909.7 points in single-threaded tests. That's a jump of +20% in multi and +4% in
