Frog Farming is Back in MoP Remix! - Threads, Bronze and Reputation
Players have discovered that Frog Farming is a very efficient way to gain lots of loot in MoP Remix!
Frog Farming is an old strategy from the Mists of Pandaria days used to farm Lesser Charm of Good Fortune, a popular currency to do many things in original Mists of Pandaria. In MoP Remix, the Frog Farm is back!
What is Frog Farming?
Frog Farming works because of something called Hyper Spawning:
Frog are Elites, only spawn in a small area and can be Hyper Spawned making them a great mob to farm for loot!
How to Frog Farm
In order to Frog Farm, head to the Timeless Isle at Coordinates 63, 75. You'll see a lot of Frogs and if it's empty (good luck), you'll need to start the Hyper Spawn by killing Frogs at a rapid pace. To be the most efficient, have people use ranged spells to the frogs to a central location and then kill them in that spot. After a short while of slow spawns, the Hyper Spawns should start!
You can do this in up to a group of 5 and all of you will share the tags. However, you can actually extend this to 8 if there are more people using a strategy called «2x4». Mobs have a tag limit of 5 people — if a group of 5 tags a Frog, no one else will be able to tag that mob for loot. However, if you have 2 groups of 4, both groups will be able to tag the Frog and get loot.
