Warlock's Doomguard Insane Scaling in MoP: Remix - Carry Your Raid to Victory
Facing a difficult raid challenge in Remix? Have a Warlock in your group? No problem! Have your Warlock summon a Doomguard to have it carry your group to victory.
By the cheap cost of one raider's life, any Warlock can summon a pet that deals insane amounts of damage. Doomguard scaling is broken right now, making it deal damage almost equivalent to a fully equipped 556 character.
In this sample log, you can see the Doomguard dealing almost 7m DPS over a 1-minute-long encounter.
How to Summon a Doomguard
Doomguard is a special Warlock pet, mostly forgotten about in Dragonflight. To summon it, you'll need to cast Ritual of Doom and have four raid members click on it. Make sure to Soulstone yourself before doing so!
After a few seconds, the ritual will be complete, and one of the five members' lives will be taken to summon an enemy Doomguard. After that, the Warlock must cast Subjugate Demon to bind the Doomguard to their will for up to 5 minutes. Note that Subjugate Demon can break during this time, and the Warlock needs to recast it.
The Doomguard, while powerful, is frail. Make sure to ask your raid members not to kill it while you subjugate it.
