With the release of :, there are a lot of changes for Guardians to adjust to; one such change means that you no longer need to grind solo Legend Lost Sectors to obtain new exotics! Instead, there are a few ways you can go about obtaining this new, powerful gear. There are six pieces of new exotic gear to be obtained so far.
Each class gets two new Exotics. Warlocks get the Speaker's Sight and Mataoidoxia, Hunters get Gifted Conviction and Balance of Power, and Titans get Hazardous Propulsion and Wishful Ignorance. All six of these Exotics are powerful in their own right, and when paired with the proper builds, they're truly a sight to behold. The simplest (not necessarily easiest,) way to get the new exotic armors is to play 's campaign on Legendary difficulty. At the end of the campaign, you will be awarded with 1960 power gear and the choice of one of the two new exotics for your class.
You'll also be able to complete the quest to earn the exotic sword Ergo Sum. Beating the Legend campaign is easier said than done, however, as the enemies you'll face in the Legend campaign are much more difficult than those in the normal version of the story. If you're not interested in this challenge, there is another way to obtain these items.
The second way you can get new exotics will take some grinding. With the new update, Rahool has been converted to a more typical reputation vendor rather than a simple merchant. This means that you can now upgrade your rank with him by turning in Exotic and Prime engrams. Maxing out his rank will unlock a new screen in his menu, allowing you to purchase any of the new pieces of exotic armor you don't have already!
