The best leaders of this set have brand-new abilities and a fair amount of manipulation. Much like the previous set, some of these Leaders will rise and fall, and any of them could be strong with the right build. That being said, some are stronger right out of the gate.
Leaders in function as the centerpiece of your deck and what you want to build around.Leaders have two sides, the horizontal side being active for most of the game and the unit side coming into battle to save the day. In this set, there are a lot of new mechanics that will heavily determine what direction you want to take them.

As a Vigilance Leader, Gar is focused heavily on control. However, he is quite conditional as he requires his own units to be upgraded. This could be a good thing as it might make your opponent think twice about putting Bounties on your units, but overall, it means his ability is only active when upgrades are out.
The new Bounty Keyword allows you to target an opposing unit with an effect that benefits you when defeated.
The best thing about this is the new card, which allows you to play it on any Mandalorian without paying the Aspect penalty. However, Bo-Katan Kryze and Sabine Wren are Mandalorian leaders withless conditional effects and can use the Darksaber a little better.
