Previous speculation about Capitano in may have been completely incorrect if new leaks about Natlan are true. Capitano is one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers in HoYoverse’s action RPG and is the main agent within the Nation of Natlan, investing interest in the tournament that will take place coinciding with the Traveler’s arrival. He was featured alongside the large roster of Natlan characters in ’s teaser trailer, and there were rumors that Capitano would eventually become playable, as Arlecchino did during Fontaine. That, however, may not be the case anymore.

According to a new piece of information provided by the leaker known as White, which was shared in a post tagged as “” on Reddit, Capitano may not become playable after all. The leak also details Mavuika and Xbalanque’s alleged roles in team comps, as well as indications that the Fourth Fatui Harbinger Columbina will be released as a playable character during some 5.x update instead of Capitano himself. While the information is superficial, it could provide some details about Capitano and Columbina in alike.

With the most recent leak, some previous speculations about Capitano may be proven wrong. The character was expected to take on an antagonistic role like Arlecchino, but not an entirely villainous one like Dottore, for instance. This is because Capitano was expected to become playable and complete villains have not yet been made playable in the game – as such, there was some expectation that Capitano would at least have some alignment with good and that he could find common ground with the Traveler in.
