Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is a game still beloved by many even as the game closes in on its 20th anniversary. One of the many reasons so many people have such fondness for the RPG is because of the ability to visit planets in different orders.
Developed by Obsidian Entertainment – also known for Fallout: New Vegas and The Outer Worlds – KotOR 2 picks up five years after its predecessor with a Jedi Knight known as The Exile serving as the lead protagonist. After waking up in an asteroid mining facility, they must seek out any remaining Jedi across the stars to take down the Sith once and for all.
After a tutorial, the galaxy opens up and the player can choose numerous orders to visit the remaining planets before heading into the pre-determined finale. Some routes are easier, some routes pose more danger and some pose a better narrative experience.

Like the original KotOR, the first two planets – Peragus II and Telos IV – are fixed and essentially serve as the game's opening tutorial sections. The same applies to Malachor V, which acts as the endgame for the adventure.
