Fortnite will be hosting yet another gigantic collab, as it seems Lady Gaga, one of the biggest artists in the world, will be the face of Fortnite Festival Season 2. Epic Games added three main game modes to Fortnite at the end of last year: Rocket Racing, a Rocket League-like racing game; LEGO Fortnite, a survival game with LEGO aesthetics; and Fortnite Festival, a rhythm game similar to Rock Band.
During launch week, LEGO Fortnite hit two million daily players, which was a great feat for a brand-new game. This means that the Opening Night Pass will come to an end, and fans will have a new Fortnite Festival pass to complete. Players had recently started to wonder which artist would be the main artist in the upcoming pass, and Lady Gaga herself has confirmed that she will be joining Fortnite on February 22.
Fortnite Festival cosmetics aren't season-exclusive items, which means that players who miss out on The Weeknd skin in the Opening Night Pass will be able to purchase it in the Item Shop at a later date. Fans who have earned enough Festival Points throughout this first season of Fortnite Festival to unlock the skin might want to consider purchasing the Premium Track of the Opening Night Pass.
Unfortunately, the Opening Night Pass Premium Track is not a perk in the Fortnite Crew Pack; it costs 1,800 V-Bucks. However, players will have the opportunity to unlock 11 items that are worth much more than that.
