Following the announcement that Cavill would step into the role of the titular Witcher in Netflix's live-action series, fans of the books and video games were skeptical about his portrayal. Yet after proving his commitment to the role, a large portion of the community now views his face as the default Geralt.
Per a post by Bjorn18 over on Nexus Mods, a team of dedicated players finally released a mod that they insist adds the most realistic depiction of Cavill's Geralt in and based on the screenshots, they may just be right.
One of the developers responsible for the mod who goes byDraiamond worked on carefully building a character model based on the actor for three years, reportedly going through several different iterations before finally landing on a face with which they were satisfied. It's worth noting that while the mod is in a stable state some hairstyles can result in some visual hitches.
