Hades 2 has received around three hours of gameplay from the game's technical test, featuring multiple runs.
Developer Supergiant Games released the live gameplay from the highly-anticipated sequel to 2020's hit title several hours ago. In the stream, Studio Director Amir Rao and Creative Director Greg Kasavi play seven runs through the game. Aside from showing gameplay, the video provides a glimpse at the game's background art for characters as well as characters that are featured in the sequel. Among numerous others, characters featured include Dora, Odysseys, Demeter, Aphrodite, Moros, Zeus, and many more. You can check out the gameplay stream below:
First announced back in December of 2022, Hades 2 has yet to receive an official release date, but Supergiant Games has confirmed that it plans to launch the game in early access before July of this year via Steam and the Epic Games Stores. According to the development team, the early access release will offer as much content as the full release of the original Hades. Although not confirmed just yet, it's likely that Hades 2 will also be released on consoles in the future. For reference - the first Hades was initially released for PC in early access in 2018. In 2020, the full game was released for PC, macOS, and Switch. The title was brought to PS4 and Xbox One in 2021.
