Warhorse Studios will be announcing its next game today, and reports indicate it’s a sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, its open-world medieval action RPG. Said reports appear legitimate, with an IGN video preview seemingly going live early. It’s since been pulled, but you can check it out courtesy of Reddit.
Launching in 2024, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 showcases a character leaving their village to become more than just a peasant. They’re heavily implied to become a chivalrous knight, though another character warns that such a life can end before it starts. The title card at the end indicates a launch for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
Warhorse will officially reveal the title at 8 PM CEST/11 AM PST, so stay tuned for the announcement. Regardless of the story, it should be interesting to see if this continues the tale of Henry, the previous game’s protagonist. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is available for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, with over six million copies sold as of February 2024.
