has officially revealed its next expansion pack, which will include new careers, ways to play, and a new town to explore. The game already has several expansions that open up many new ways to play the popular life simulator. Each previous expansion focuses on a certain element of life (and death), like cottage and island living, cats and dogs for pet lovers, and many more. EA has now announced the latest expansion pack, which will focus on small businesses and several new skills.
The new brings tattooing, pottery, and other businesses to as revealed on the EA website. The announcement is paired with a reveal trailer on YouTube channel, which focuses largely on the two new skills, tattooing and pottery, which will give players the freedom to make their own unique creations. Players will now also be able to set up shop and charge other Sims for their services and goods as a new way to earn Simoleons.
The tattoo skill was teased earlier this week, and boasts a lot of freedom for players to get creative. Players will be able to give Sims pre-made tattoos or create custom designs in the new Tattoo Paint Mode. The mode also allows players to layer tattoo designs (including ones from previous content packs) and unlock new options and stencils as their Sim improves through practice.
The new Pottery Wheel unlocks the pottery skill, allowing players to design tea sets, plant pots, and more. Higher-level Sims are even able to practice the Japanese art of Kintsugi to celebrate imperfections and turn broken pottery into beautiful works of art. The results can then be gifted to other Sims or sold as part of a small business.
