trailer has set a new record for Marvel Studios.
On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Marvel released the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which hits theaters this coming July. Within the first 24 hours, the trailer received approximately 202 million views across all platforms.
Per Deadline, that’s the most views a non-sequel Marvel Studios film has ever received. It comes in third place overall for all Marvel Studios movies, following Deadpool & Wolverine (365 million) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (335 million).
That means The Fantastic Four: First Steps is likely going to be a huge, money-making hit, as Deadpool & Wolverine made $1.3 billion at the global box office while Spider-Man: No Way Home ended its theatrical run with $1.95 billion.
That said, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is also going to face some tough competition at the box office. Jurassic World Rebirth opens in theaters approximately three weeks before the Marvel Studio movie does, while James Gunn’s DCU Superman film arrives the week after.

“Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet,” the official synopsis reads. “Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”
The Fantastic Four: First Steps arrives in United States theaters on July 25, 2025, as part of Phase Six of the MCU.
