After nearly 300 hours in-game, one player has found a point of interest (POI) they've never seen before. massive scale was something that fans were looking forward to, but also equally nervous about. Many were worried that the scale would make the game feel empty, while others felt as though Bethesda should have focused more on the story and NPCs instead of the clearly flawed open-world itself. There is so much to do that discovering every POI would be nearly impossible, butthe chance of discovering this POI is even rarer than others.
Except for a few set locations, all the planets and POIs in are procedurally generated, but after 280 hours, Reddit user EmptyDarkH thought they had seen it all. That is, until they came across this rare POI on their journey through space.
They said they were checking out the Bradbury system and were on Bradbury 3 when this appeared. Other players mentioned that after about 600 hours they came across it, while others have even more hours logged and have yet to see it.

This rare location has a significant storyline tied to it, but is contained to just exploring the area itself, so no additional travel is needed.
