Free-to-play first-person hero shooter FragPunk announced for Xbox Series, PC
Bad Guitar Studio, a subsidiary studio of NetEase Games‘ ThunderFire Studios, has announced FragPunk, a free-to-play five-versus-five first-person hero shooter coming to Xbox Series and PC via Steam in 2025. Playtest are planned for both console and PC.
“We are overjoyed to be bringing FragPunk to players around the world. Our team at Bad Guitar lives and breathes first-person shooter games, and we are ready to leave our mark on the genre,” said creative director and producer Xin Chang in a press release. “We explored a number of elements that make first-person shooters special and considered ways to truly innovate in this space. FragPunk‘s card mechanic is a literal game changer and we can’t wait to see players surprise us with their own unique combinations of cards, heroes and weapons, round after round.”
