A fair number of fire blob enemies will fall from the ceiling the entire time you are in the Ruined Forge Lava Intake. Watch your steps and bash them away if needed, but they are fairly easy to run past.
You will also receive anAncient Dragon Smithing Stone from the forge, but the real prize is the Anvil Hammer, for which you do not have to defeat any overly large or terrible enemies. And looking at its stats, you will see you have gained an excellent weapon.
The Anvil Hammer is a tremendous Colossal weapon in that has a fair bit of power behind it. It scales at least marginally with most of the basic stats, but it will be best for strength builds.
