An extremely talented cosplayer has brought 's Queen Sonia to life with one particular detail that many often overlook. Despite being the first queen of Hyrule and appearing alongside the Zonai King, Rauru, who had appeared elsewhere in the franchise, Sonia was a completely new character introduced in, appearing mostly through flashbacks related to Zelda's time-traveling story, and soon became a fan favorite.
Redditor edhel_cosplay took to the r/zelda subreddit to share their impressive Queen Sonia cosplay with an incredibly detailed outfit, including a headpiece and pointed ears, along with makeup showing various white symbols across her arms with various meanings, including the Triforce on her wrist, which fans are extremely familiar with as it is the ultimate source of power in the franchise. One detail that surprised some commenters in the full body shot of the costume, however, was the large brown ankle bracelet.
Much of the footage of Queen Sonia does not focus on her feet — it's a game, not a Tarantino movie, after all — so it's an easily overlooked detail. However, the character does wear an ankle bracelet similar to this in the game, which can be seen in wider shots, showing just how much attention to detail there is in edhel_cosplay's depiction.
