As the day of release draws closer for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive continue to showcase new looks at the game, and the former has offered a glimpse of another couple of classes that will be available in the PvE (Operations) and PvP (Eternal War) modes at launch.
The focus this time is on the Vanguard and Assault classes, both of which are close quarters specialists. The Vanguard class comes equipped with a combat knife, as well as a grapnel launcher that can be used to pull yourself in an enemy’s direction. Then there’s the Assault class, whose weapon of choice is a giant thunder hammer and a power fist, though what really sets the class apart is its aerial abilities, courtesy of a jump pack. Check out the gameplay below for a look at both.
Previously, Focus Entertainment showcases glimpses of the Sniper and Tactical classes, while other recent gameplay showings have also highlighted the Battle Barge, various weapons, enemy types, and more.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is due out on September 9 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
