The Fallout 4 Boon Island mod adds a new world space to the game based on a real-life island.
Created by madders 'Tenhats' and 'Shreddah4', this new lands mod for the PC version of Bethesda's 2015 Fallout entry, is the first chapter of 'The Isles of New England' series. The new world space is located between Far Harbor and Boston, and comes complete with a new fully-voiced quest. In addition, it offers music, animations, custom textures, sound effects, and more.
"The first chapter of The Isles Of New England series, Boon Island is a location/quest & settlement mod that takes the player to the forgotten shores of Boon Island, Maine, an unassuming lighthouse with a tragic history in real life, from shipwrecks, to cannibalism, fires, madness, deadly illness, and harrowing storms", the description of the mod reads.

mod works with both the recently-released next-gen update and the version before that update. Also, the duo has said that the next chapter in the series will offer a bigger island with several quests and settlements. Players who want to use this mod, won't have to start a new game or create of new character.
