Nine years after it initially launched in 2015, received a brand-new reputation system via a mod. CD Projekt Red's RPG has no shortage of choices for the player, especially many that inform the stories of 's side quests, but it's lacking any sort of overarching morality or reputation system. One was seemingly cut from the game in development, however, and has now been restored thanks to a dedicated modder.
Nexus Mods user FreakVlp (via ) uploaded their Reputation System mod on July 18, 2024. According to its description, Reputation System "" Choices players make, and their behavior more broadly will now inform Geralt's reputation across five distinct regions with the mod installed. Acting chivalrous or nefarious in quests, certain activities, and while exploring will have a monetary impact on the player, raising or lowering buying and selling prices for vendors in each region.

The five regions where Geralt has individual reputations with the mod are as follows:

In each of the above regions, Geralt can become Hated, Disliked, Liked, or Respectable. Alternatively, he can remain Neutral, which is where the Witcher's reputation begins upon first entering any region. Neutral reputation keeps trading, bartering, and betting at their normal levels for vanilla; gaining one of the reputations will affect monetary transactions in a given region in the following ways:
