Players have now fully immersed themselves into the Season of the Infernal Hordes in Diablo 4, and many are enjoying new quality-of-life, gameplay features, and of course, looting those Mythic Uniques. Not all players have been having a successful season so far, however: those who play on couch co-op mode have run into several frustrating bugs that hamper gameplay.
In a recent Reddit thread created by user thebestthingsinlife2, a video was posted giving an example of Attack Speed being unable to scale beyond the base amount during local co-op. This issue would stop if the second player quit the game, but would begin once more after entering a new area once the second player rejoined.
In addition to Attack Speed not scaling properly, there appear to be issues with attack animations not working properly, rubber-banded movement, controller vibration not functioning, and more. Reddit user thebestthingsinlife2 provided links to many different Blizzard forum posts to shed more light on the situation.
Thankfully, Global Diablo Community Development Director Adam Fletcher responded with some fantastic news for the playerbase:
Fletcher later referenced why players may not get a step-by-step breakdown of every bugfix in the works. While Blizzard is unable to respond to every singe report, they are certainly monitoring — which means that even though some bugs may not have official acknowledgement immediately, they are definitely on Blizzard's radar for fixes.
No timetable was given for when we could expect this issue to be resolved, but
