Players are reporting that Blizzard is banning those who participated in Reputation-gain exploits ahead of the Race for World First.
With the Race for World First Nerub-ar Palace beginning its Heroic week tomorrow, several players are reporting that bans are being handed out to those who exploited excess Reputation gains.
While the bans are reportedly for only four days, this could have repercussions in the race — with Heroic Splits being a staple of the last several RWF events, having members of the team unable to have the time to gear that their raid members have could affect rosters and team composition.
Currently, it's unknown whether the exploited Renown and any associated rewards will be reverted. However, players have repeatedly stated that «exploit early, exploit often» as an unofficial mantra is not only unfair, it's unbalanced — and many request for these types of situations to be resolved with a rollback.
