CraftSim is an addon created by GenjuWow. This addon was originally created in Dragonflight and has been consistently improved for The War Within. One major module of CraftSim is the Average Profit section. This box shows you your expected average profit per craft based on your current Specializations, Skill, Profession Equipment, and material quality. Crafters can use this module to see if their crafts are profitable before buying materials. For more information, players can view the Statistics module to see their profit breakdown based on their Secondary Stat procs and their chance at profit after a particular amount of crafts.
CraftSim's Simulation Mode allows crafters to modify their current Skill, Specializations, Material Quality, and Stats to see how that changes their average profit. For example, if a player wants to see if using Quality 1 materials is more profitable than using Quality 2. They can use simulation mode to change their quality of materials without having those reagents in their inventory. Players can also adjust their current Specializations to see how allocating Knowledge Points could improve their craft.
One of the most useful modules of CraftSim is the Specialization Info box. This tab shows you what Specialization nodes affect that particular craft to ensure you are allocating your Knowledge Points correctly.
